Once in a dream I held the rain drops in my arms

I felt your warmth,

Once in a dream did I clasp close the evening breeze

I heard your heart beat against me,

One night I let the silver moonlight caress my face,

I trembled with your passion,

Once in a dream did the stars light my way

I saw the love in your eyes.

The raindrops fell today

The evening breeze fluttered oh so softly against my heart

The moonlight caressed me on my upturned face

The stars shone like a carpet of lights.

I stood

Lone in the light.

Eons ago, the bier bedecked with white blossoms

Danced away

From me.

No dreams followed.
